Zoom Security
Both your data protection and the quality of your webinar experience are of the utmost importance to us.
We are aware of the possible security gaps which have recently been discussed in the media and have taken every effort to ensure they are closed. In addition to the measures that Zoom have already made, our Zoom webinars follow the below best practice:
- All webinars are created with secure Meeting IDs and passwords are only shared with registered participants. The meeting ID is no longer visible on the shared screen
- Only the host has the rights to share screens, upload data and invite/remove delegates from the meeting.
- After dialing in, the host locks off the meeting and thus prevents further connections.
To participate in our webinar without installing Zoom software, please follow the below instructions:
- To do this, open the following link via your browser (e.g. Google Chrome) and click “join from your browser”.
- If the option “join from your browser “does not appear automatically, please press “download & run Zoom”, select the “join from your browser” option should be appearing now and simply cancel the zoom download at this stage.
